Introducing Project GREEN at the Elmhurst Green Fest

One of the highlights of the 2010 Elmhurst Green Fest will be Project GREEN.  Project GREEN is a simple approach to make your home more comfortable, save on energy bills and make our town a cool place to live!  Project GREEN stands for Green Retrofits for Energy Efficient Neighborhood homes.

An energy efficiency retrofit as recommended in Project GREEN can improve comfort and cut your bills. Studies show energy-saving measures can reduce household energy by 10-40%. Stop drafts, eliminate hot or cold spots in your home, save energy, and help the planet! Elmhurst Green Fest will showcase this new program with presentations and professionals that can help you get started making your home as energy efficient as possible.

Get a step-by-step overview of Project GREEN, review a list of local contractors who can do the work, learn about tax credits and more on the Project GREEN website.

Between all of the home performance products and services available today, it can be easy to spend more than you planned on items that might not perform as advertised. Jeff Sommer will answer your questions and provide the resources to move forward with your home improvement or building projects.
